Our beloved Rashami Desai, known for her stint in the daily soap Uttaran, recently spilled the beans on a podcast with Paras Chhabra about a tough phase in her life. Imagine this: a star with a ₹3.5 crore debt and no roof over her head. Yes, you heard that right! Bechari had to sleep in her Audi A6. Talk about irony, sleeping in a luxury car but no ghar to call her own!
Rashami’s tale of woe doesn’t stop there. Post her divorce from Nandish Sandhu, she was swimming in debt. "I had a loan of ₹2.5 crore and was on the roads for four days," she confessed. Matlab, Bollywood ki asli kahani yeh hai! All her belongings were stacked at her manager’s place, and she was munching on rickshaw-vala meals packed in plastic bags, complete with stones. 😱

For those who’ve missed out on Rashami’s journey, she started with a cameo in an Assamese film Kanyadaan (2002) and later shone in the Bhojpuri movie Kab Hoi Gawna Hamar (2003). But her real claim to fame was on the small screen with Uttaran (2019-2014) and Dil Se Dil Tak (2017-2018). Ab yeh hai asli Bollywood journey!
