Rasika Dugal and the Curious Case of Mirzapur 3!
Yeh kya ho raha hai, bhai? Our very own Beena Tripathi, aka Rasika Dugal, has reprised her role in the third season of the crime thriller series, Mirzapur. But hold on! The third season, which dropped four years after the second one, hasn’t exactly set the world on fire. 🙄
Rasika, however, is unfazed. She’s all about her loyal audience. “Arre bhai, teen seasons kar liye hain and Mirzapur ke audience toh show ko apna hi samajhte hain,” she quips. Talk about fan dedication!
Rasika Dugal was recently seen in Mirzapur 3.
Despite the mixed reviews, Rasika is loving the chatter. “Audience ne season 3 ko pyaar diya hai aur kuch logon ne kaha ki yeh unke expectations se alag tha,” she says. “Har tarah ka response accha aur welcome hai.” Well, positivity toh dekho!
Recently, a photo of Ali Fazal (Guddu Pandit) and Rasika surfaced, dressed quite differently from their on-screen avatars. Fans went berserk! Kya yeh next season ka hint hai? Rasika is enjoying the speculation. “Har post Mirzapur ke baare mein baat karwata hai. Humare paas best audience hai!” she laughs. She loves the photo, calling it a “stylized take on the Guddu-Beena relationship so far.”
Ab yeh hint hai ya nahi? “Mirzapur mein kuch bhi ho sakta hai,” she teases. Suspense, suspense!
On her recent outing at the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, where she bagged the Diversity Champion Award, Rasika is reflective. “Film festivals have been a very important part of my journey as an actor,” she says. Early in her career, films like Qissa and Manto premiered at renowned international festivals, giving her the boost she needed. “It gave me the drive to work harder and the courage to push through challenging times,” she shares. Festivals, for her, are platforms that nurture and promote new talent. Sahi baat hai!
