So our Bollywood diva, Rhea Chakraborty, recently spilled the beans on her show, Chapter 2, about a sweet little message from Aamir Khan. Yep, you heard it right, Bollywood’s Mr. Perfectionist himself! Picture this: Rhea, all bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, auditioning for Laal Singh Chaddha. Even though she didn’t bag the role (Kareena Kapoor did, duh), she got a message from Aamir saying her audition was top-notch. Awww! 😍

Flashback to the Audition Days:

Aamir reminisced about their first encounter during the screen test for Laal Singh Chaddha. He couldn’t help but praise Rhea’s audition skills, even though Bebo walked away with the role. And guess what? Rhea was over the moon! She said, "You had sent me a message. Which I found very, very surprising because I have auditioned for thousands of films but it has never happened that when you are not getting the film when the producer, director or actor messages you and says, ‘Sorry, your audition was great, but the fact is we could not go with you.’ But you had done it and I was really, really shocked. I showed that message to mom, dad, everyone and said, ‘See, I am a good actor. Aamir Khan is saying I’m a good actor.’”

Aamir’s Empathy Lesson:

Aamir, being the empathetic soul he is, said, "I feel that when you are struggling as an actor, because when I was new to the industry I used to give a lot of auditions and get rejected everywhere. I know that feeling. So I feel if I have not got that role, I should at least be told that I have not got that role. Otherwise I’d be waiting and wondering whether I will get it or not. Then I would find out from the media that someone else has been cast.”

Bhai wah, kya baat hai! We all need a mentor like Aamir in our lives, right?

After the Laal Singh Chaddha fiasco (yeah, it tanked at the box office, who knew?), Aamir is gearing up for some interesting projects.
