April 5, 2025 – Bollywood’s very own Sultan, Salman Khan, is back with another dhamaka, but is it really a blast or more of a phuski bomb? Let’s dive into the world of glitz, glamour, and some not-so-glamorous numbers with AR Murugadoss’ latest offering, "Sikandar," starring Bhaijaan himself and the ever-charming Rashmika Mandanna.
Sikandar Box Office Report – Day 7
The grapevine reports that "Sikandar" netted a decent ₹3.28 crore in India on Saturday. But, alas, our dear Sanjay Rajkot (Salman’s regal avatar) seems to be struggling to match his mighty reputation. The film’s week-long run has amassed a total of ₹97.03 crore. Not too shabby, but when you’re Salman Khan, expectations are as high as Katrina’s dance moves! 😜
Starting with a lukewarm ₹26 crore opening, the movie managed ₹90.25 crore in its first five days. Come Friday, and the film faced a 41.67% dip, earning ₹3.5 crore. Ouch! That’s like going from a dhinchak dance floor to a dull drawing room.
Globally, "Sikandar" has raked in ₹178.16 crore in just six days. Yet, it’s trailing behind Salman’s blockbuster "Tiger 3," which roared with ₹219.4 crore in the same timeframe. But hey, at least it’s racing ahead of "Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan," which managed ₹90.15 crore in its initial week. As Monday looms, the big question is: Will "Sikandar" hit a century or get stuck at 99, like that batsman who missed his ton?
About Sikandar
Apart from our beloved Bhaijaan and Rashmika, the film showcases a talented ensemble including Sathyaraj, Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Prateik Babbar, Kishore, Jatin Sarna, and Sanjay Kapoor. Salman, in his kingly avatar as Sanjay Rajkot, faces off against a villainous politician and his equally shady offspring. Unfortunately, the critics weren’t throwing flowers, but more like rotten tomatoes, calling the film "not the Eidi Salman used to promise." Oof!
Kiran’s Gyan
Dosto, Bollywood ka asli formula kya hai? Star power ya solid story? Lagta hai, is baar Salman bhai ki formula thodi si ghalti ho gayi. But don’t worry, every king has his day, and Salman’s fans are as loyal as ever. Remember, in Bollywood, even a flop can be a hit if you add enough masala! 🍿
