Salman Khan Flick Kicks Off with an Emotionally Charged Bang, With Just a Sprinkle of Imperfections

Arre bhai, get ready for some masti and masala! Our beloved Bhai, Salman Khan, is back with a dhamakedar performance in his latest flick, "Sikandar." The first half of this movie is like a roller-coaster ride of emotions, with just the right mix of romance, action, and drama. And, as always, Salman Bhai shines, especially in those tear-jerker scenes where he shows his softer side. Kya baat hai, Bhai! 🎬

Now, let’s dive into the masaledar kahani. Our hero, Sanjay Rajkot, aka Sikandar (played by none other than Salman Khan), is the king of the Rajkot dynasty. He’s married to the lovely Saisri (Rashmika Mandanna), but alas, Rajkumar Sanjay is so busy with his raj-dharma and other commitments that he struggles to give his biwi the attention she deserves. Enter the villain of our kahani, politician Pradhan (played by Sathyaraj), who’s fuming because Sanjay gave his son, Arjun (Prateik Babbar), a flying lesson—literally, inside a plane! 😂 As if that’s not enough, life throws Sanjay a googly when tragedy strikes, and he’s left to pick up the pieces and face his dushmans.

The first half of the film is like a fast-paced train ride—sidaaa express, no slow local here! It quickly sets up the story, introducing Sanjay and Saisri’s relationship and hinting at the bada toofan that’s about to hit Sanjay’s life. But, like every Bollywood masala movie, there are some plot holes you could drive a truck through. And with Sanjay and Pradhan’s rivalry moving to the forefront in the second half, expect more melodrama and some over-the-top acting. 🎭

The background music is on point, adding a thrilling layer to those high-octane action scenes. Salman Bhai’s charisma is as magnetic as ever, though we’re hoping for even more intensity in the second half. Rashmika’s role is short and sweet, but the chemistry between her and Bhai is a bit thanda. Sathyaraj’s portrayal of the loud villain could use some volume control, while Sharman Joshi, unfortunately, lacks variety in his performance.

So, that’s the post-interval lowdown on "Sikandar." Stay tuned, kyunki picture abhi baaki hai mere dost! We’ll be back with the full review once the second half unfolds. 📽️
