Arre bhai, get ready for some masti and masala! Our beloved Bhai, Salman Khan, is back with a dhamakedar performance in his latest flick, "Sikandar." The first half of this movie is like a roller-coaster ride of emotions, with just the right mix of romance, action, and drama. And, as always, Salman Bhai shines, especially in those tear-jerker scenes where he shows his softer side. Kya baat hai, Bhai! đŹ
Now, letâs dive into the masaledar kahani. Our hero, Sanjay Rajkot, aka Sikandar (played by none other than Salman Khan), is the king of the Rajkot dynasty. Heâs married to the lovely Saisri (Rashmika Mandanna), but alas, Rajkumar Sanjay is so busy with his raj-dharma and other commitments that he struggles to give his biwi the attention she deserves. Enter the villain of our kahani, politician Pradhan (played by Sathyaraj), whoâs fuming because Sanjay gave his son, Arjun (Prateik Babbar), a flying lessonâliterally, inside a plane! đ As if thatâs not enough, life throws Sanjay a googly when tragedy strikes, and heâs left to pick up the pieces and face his dushmans.
The first half of the film is like a fast-paced train rideâsidaaa express, no slow local here! It quickly sets up the story, introducing Sanjay and Saisriâs relationship and hinting at the bada toofan thatâs about to hit Sanjayâs life. But, like every Bollywood masala movie, there are some plot holes you could drive a truck through. And with Sanjay and Pradhanâs rivalry moving to the forefront in the second half, expect more melodrama and some over-the-top acting. đ
The background music is on point, adding a thrilling layer to those high-octane action scenes. Salman Bhaiâs charisma is as magnetic as ever, though weâre hoping for even more intensity in the second half. Rashmikaâs role is short and sweet, but the chemistry between her and Bhai is a bit thanda. Sathyarajâs portrayal of the loud villain could use some volume control, while Sharman Joshi, unfortunately, lacks variety in his performance.
So, thatâs the post-interval lowdown on "Sikandar." Stay tuned, kyunki picture abhi baaki hai mere dost! Weâll be back with the full review once the second half unfolds. đ˝ď¸
