On July 3, they hosted a grand Mameru ceremony (a Gujarati tradition where the bride’s maternal uncle showers her with sweets and gifts). The Ambanis, it seems, are determined to make this wedding an event for the ages, adhering to the most traditional Hindu Vedic customs.

The main ceremonies are set to kick off on Friday, July 12, with the Shubh Vivah. Guests are expected to don traditional Indian attire, so get ready for a fashion extravaganza. The celebrations will continue on Saturday, July 13, with Shubh Aashirwad, and the whole shebang will wrap up with Mangal Utsav on Sunday, July 14.

Earlier this year, the couple had a series of pre-wedding festivities in Jamnagar that saw an international guest list worthy of a royal wedding. Clearly, the Ambanis know how to throw a party!
