Anil Kapoor to Host Bigg Boss OTT 3: Salman Khan’s Shoes are Big, but Anil Looks Ready to Fill Them!

Our forever-young veteran actor, Anil Kapoor, is stepping into the spotlight as the host for the third season of Bigg Boss OTT. Yes, you heard that right! The man who refuses to age is now taking over the reins of the reality show that thrives on unscripted chaos. 🎬
During an electrifying media event on Tuesday, Anil Kapoor took center stage alongside Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui. And guess what? Anil revealed that none other than the ultimate “Bhai” of Bollywood, Salman Khan, is thrilled to see him as the new host.
"Salman ko koi replace nahi kar sakta aur Anil Kapoor ko bhi koi replace nahi kar sakta… bhai (Salman Khan) bhaut khush hai… meri unse baat bhi hui hai… he is very excited and happy knowing that I am doing non-fiction," Anil Kapoor declared. Oh, Anil, the confidence! Or should I say, the Kapoor-dence? 😜
For those living under a rock, Bigg Boss OTT 3 is premiering on JioCinema from June 21. This version of the famous Bigg Boss franchise first kicked off on Voot with Karan Johar as the host. But then, Salman Khan took over for the second season, naturally adding his own spice to the mix.
Anil, of course, has his own take on this new venture. He said, "Bigg Boss OTT and I are a dream team! We’re both young at heart; people often say – jokingly – that I’m reverse ageing, but Bigg Boss is – seriously – timeless. It feels a bit like going back to school, trying something new and exciting."
And just like the eternal optimist he is, Anil added, "Having said that, I’ve always approached all my projects with sincerity and a commitment to hard work and I’m going to bring that same energy (times 10!) to Bigg Boss! Unscripted reality has something for everyone – laughter, drama, and surprising twists, and I can’t wait to bring my own flavour to it."
