Samrat Mukherjee, Kajol’s Cousin, Caught in a Case of Mistaken Identity!
Arey bhai, it seems like Samrat Mukherjee, the cousin of our beloved Kajol and Rani Mukerji, has been answering phone calls like he’s running a call center 😂. It’s all thanks to some gadbad that’s been going around town. Apparently, a Tollywood actor named Samrat Mukherjee was involved in a bike accident in Kolkata, and logon ne soch liya that it’s Kajol’s bhaiya! 🤦♀️
Now, our Mumbai wala Samrat had to clear the hawa and say, "Bhai log, it’s not me!" He’s been trying to convince everyone that he’s chilling in Mumbai, running Filmalaya studios, and not hitting motorcycles in Behala! 😅

With a sigh, Samrat clarified, “I would like to clarify that the Samrat Mukherjee who met with an accident is not me. The actor Samrat Mukherjee is based in Kolkata while I am a filmmaker and owner of Filmalaya studios, based in Mumbai. Since morning, I have been getting calls and I’m tired now, telling everyone that I am not the same Samrat. The actor who met with an accident does not belong to our family.”
Bhai sahab, kya museebat hai! Imagine explaining the same thing over and over again. Samrat even added that people should know he’s safe and sound in Mumbai. So, aap log please samajh lo, our Samrat is busy making films, not headlines! 😂
Confusion ka dhandha!
Meanwhile, the real culprit, the Bengali actor with the same name, was nabbed by police on Tuesday after his car went dhadaam into a motorcycle in Kolkata. The motorcyclist was rushed to M R Bangur Hospital and then shifted to SSKM Hospital. The police have taken the actor for a medical test and are diving deep into the case.
And our Mumbai Samrat? Well, he’s often seen hanging out with Kajol during Durga Puja celebrations in Mumbai. So, no bike accidents for him, only bhangra and bhajans! 😉
