Sharmin Segal Showers Heeramandi Co-stars with Compliments: Aditi Rao Hydari – The Nurturer, Manisha Koirala – The Style Queen, and Sonakshi Sinha – The Zen Master

Hello, my Bollywood buddies! It’s your favorite snooping newshound, Nisha, back with another juicy scoop, this time from the sets of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s web series debut, ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’. Now, you might be wondering, “Nisha, how do you get all this insider info?” Well, let’s just say a little birdie told me, or more aptly, a certain Sharmin Segal did.

Our dear Sharmin, who slipped into the shoes of Alamzeb for ‘Heeramandi’, spilled some tantalising tea about her on-set experiences and co-stars during a recent fun game segment. When asked about who among her star-studded cast, which includes Manisha Koirala, Aditi Rao Hydari, and Sonakshi Sinha, was always on their phone, she revealed a surprising fact. “Nobody,” she said, “There’s too much to do on a set, especially as an actor, there’s way too much to do so there was no time to be on your phone.” Well, that’s quite refreshing, given our stars’ usual phone-obsessed reputations.

But don’t you worry, Sharmin wasn’t all work and no play. Our girl owned up to being the ‘mastikhor’ (mischievous one) and the ‘biggest foodie’ on set. Her food weaknesses? Pizza and cake. Relatable much? I swear I just felt my stomach growl.

Now, let’s talk about the work ethic on set. Sharmin painted a picture of a dedicated cast and crew, so engrossed in their work that breaks were a rare commodity. “No one used to take breaks because they were dedicated to finishing the work,” she said. Now that’s what I call commitment!

As she dished on her co-stars, Sharmin had nothing but good things to say. Aditi Rao Hydari took home the title of the most caring person on set, while Sonakshi Sinha was crowned the queen of calm. Manisha Koirala, on the other hand, won the ‘best fashion sense’ award. And let’s not forget about her uncle, who Sharmin lauded as wittier than Bhansali himself.

So, it looks like ‘Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar’ has more than a little sparkle. Given the immense love and attention it has garnered, I’m sure we’re all eagerly awaiting season two.

Now, here’s the moral of our little Bollywood story. No matter how dazzling the lights, or how glamorous the fashion, at the end of the day, it’s the work ethic and dedication that shine the brightest. And, of course, a slice of pizza and some cake to keep the spirits high!

Stay tuned for more Bollywood gossip from your favorite newshound, Nisha. Until next time, keep those ears pricked and eyes peeled, because you never know when Bollywood will surprise you!
