So, Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao are back to haunt your screens with Stree 2! Yup, you heard it right! This horror-comedy sequel, which is part of Dinesh Vijan’s spooky universe, is all set to drop on August 14th night. And guess what? The buzz is that it’s expected to rake in a smashing 40-42 crore on its opening day in India! 😱
Breaking Records Left, Right, and Center!
Stree 2 is already causing quite the stir even before its official release. With advance bookings going through the roof, it’s leading the pack in a three-way clash against Vedaa and Khel Khel Mein. Sorry, Akshay Kumar and John Abraham, but it looks like Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor are here to steal the show! 🎬🔥
SRK and Salman Khan, Watch Out!
Hold onto your seats, folks! Stree 2 is set to snatch one of Shah Rukh Khan’s prized records. Remember Chennai Express? Well, SRK’s 2013 Independence Day release held the record for the biggest paid preview with 6.75 crore. After 11 solid years, no one’s come close… until now. Looks like Stree 2 is about to give SRK a run for his money! 🏃♂️💨
And poor Salman Khan! His Ek Tha Tiger opened with 32.92 crore back in 2012, but Stree 2 is threatening to push him down the ranks. Will it beat Gadar 2’s opening of 40.10 crore? Time will tell, but one thing’s for sure—Salman might have to settle for the third spot in the Independence Day opener list.
