Arre bhaiyo aur behno, apun ka naam hai Khabree Kiran and I’ve got some spicy Bollywood news for you today! Buckle up because we’re diving into the drama surrounding Stree 2 and its director Amar Kaushik’s bold decisions! 😎
Amar Kaushik Breaks Silence on Shraddha Kapoor’s Limited Screen Time in Stree 2
Stree 2 has been setting the box office on fire since its release on August 15, with everyone from your friendly neighborhood chaiwala to Bollywood insiders buzzing about it. But, janta, not everyone is thrilled. Some critics are having a rona-dhona about Shraddha Kapoor not getting enough screen time. Director Amar Kaushik, however, has his own bindaas take on the matter.
In a recent chat, Amar said, “Shraddha’s limited screen time was a deliberate move, yaar. Her scarce appearances actually made her character’s impact dhamakedar! Less is more, samjhe?” And let’s be honest, sometimes a little bit of mystery is what keeps the audience glued to their seats, hain na?
Amar’s Take on Aparshakti Khurana’s Limited Presence
When grilled about Aparshakti Khurana’s short screen presence in the second half, Amar didn’t hold back. “Bhai, that’s how the character was written! Abhishek Banerjee’s character also arrives late in the film, so kya? It’s script ki demand! We write what’s needed. We don’t think, ‘Yeh role bada ya chota hai, yeh actor bura maanega.’ For us, the Bible is the script. Organic hona chahiye!”
He even mentioned that some folks complained about Shraddha’s screen time. “Lekin agar Shraddha zyada dikhti, toh uski entry ka impact nahin hota! You get it? It’s all about the wow factor when she makes her appearance!”
About the Film
So what’s all the fuss about? Directed by Amar Kaushik and backed by Maddock Films, Stree 2 hit the theaters on August 15, alongside some other releases like Khel Khel Mein, Vedaa, Thangalaan, and Double iSmart. This sequel to the 2018 hit Stree is already closing in on the ₹300 crore mark globally. 🎉
Starring Rajkummar Rao as Vicky the tailor, and Shraddha Kapoor as the mysterious woman, the film sees the town of Chanderi being terrorized by a new villain, Sarkata. With Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana also making key appearances, the film is a rollicking ride of horror and comedy. Produced by Jio Studios and Dinesh Vijan, it’s raking in the moolah and how!
Kiran’s Gyan:
Arre bhai, Bollywood is like a biryani. Thoda masala idhar, thoda masala udhar. Too much of anything and it’s overcooked. So, directors like Amar Kaushik are the chefs, deciding how much spice to add. Kabhi kabhi, kam masala bhi chalta hai if it leaves you wanting more! Remember, less is sometimes more in Bollywood’s magical world. 😉
Stay tuned for more masaledar updates from your one and only Khabree Kiran!
