Yudhra Hits the Screens: A Mid-Movie Chit-Chat

Arrey, Siddhant Chaturvedi fans, aapka intezaar khatam hua! The much-anticipated action thriller Yudhra has finally graced our screens today (September 20). Featuring a star filled cast with Raghav Juyal, Malavika Mohanan, Ram Kapoor, Gajraj Rao, and Shilpa Shukla, this one is directed by the talented Ravi Udyawar. We’re halfway through the movie, so let’s have a quick post-interval gossip session!

Plot Ke Maze Mein:

Siddhant Chaturvedi plays Yudhra, a young man out for vengeance after his parents are brutally murdered. His father, a no-nonsense police officer, busts a drug racket run by the notorious Firoze (Raj Arjun), only to end up dead. Adopted by his father’s friend, a police officer turned politician (Gajraj Rao), and mentored by another loyal colleague, Rehman (Ram Kapoor), Yudhra is a ticking time bomb with anger issues. Thanks to his aggressive nature, courtesy of some birth complications, his life becomes a rollercoaster, affecting his relationship with his childhood buddy and love interest, Nikhat (Malavika Mohanan).

Rehman assigns Yudhra the mission to infiltrate Firoze’s drug empire. After eliminating Firoze’s rival in jail, Yudhra gains his trust and is now the insider helping the police from within. But, kuch parts mein logic toh gayab hi ho gaya! His double-agent act sometimes feels like a scene from a Bollywood masala flick, rather than a well-thought-out plan. 🤔

Action Ka Dhamaka:

Director Ravi Udyawar keeps the pace brisk, and the action sequences are as slick as ever. Siddhant Chaturvedi is intense, delivering some killer dialogues with swag! Raghav Juyal shines as the villain, and Malavika Mohanan proves she’s more than just a pretty face. Gajraj Rao and Ram Kapoor bring their A-game too.

But, yaar, the drug racket plotline has some major loopholes. The cliffhanger ending of the first half leaves us on the edge of our seats, but the second half will decide if this movie is a hit or miss.

Cinematography & More:

Visually, the film is stunning, with a touch of comic book and anime style. The background score, especially during Raghav Juyal’s entry, is catchy AF!

Kiran’s Gyan:

Bollywood mein kuch bhi ho sakta hai, yaar! Plot mein logic ho na ho, action-packed drama aur killer dialogues toh zaroori hain. Second half ka intezaar hai, pata chalega ki movie ka kya hoga!
