Even cinema exhibitors are in awe. Kamal Gianchandani, CEO of PVR INOX Pictures Limited, gushed about the film’s performance, predicting a "very long run" at the box office. "It’s a blockbuster in the re-release category," he said. "The producers did a fantastic job of positioning and timing the re-release well."

Akshay Rathi, a theater owner in central India, chimed in, calling the response "very encouraging." He mentioned that "Tumbbad" didn’t get its due when it first released but has since found a loyal audience through TV and streaming platforms. “To be able to experience it in theaters, they all are coming in encouraging numbers,” he added. 🤩

Fans have been clamoring for "Tumbbad 2," and Shah promises it will delve even deeper into the theme of greed. “With ‘Tumbbad 2’, we want to push the cinematic experience and boundaries even further,” he said. “It will take audiences deeper into the world we’ve created, with bigger twists and a more intense exploration of what happens when greed knows no limits.”
