Recently, the newlyweds decided to celebrate their one-month wedding anniversary in the Philippines. Aur bhai, kya pics daale hain Instagram pe! Sonakshi shared some adorable snaps from their honeymoon, and penned down a heartfelt note on the ‘gram, expressing her gratitude for the wellness retreat they experienced.

"We celebrated one month of our wedding by doing what we needed to do the most – RECOVER!!! This is not an ad, and no one asked us to post but i can’t help but share the awesomeness of @thefarmatsanbenito in the Philippines. In one week we were taught what wellness actually means, listen to our bodies and take care of our minds. Waking up in the midst of nature, eating right, sleeping on time, detox treatments, and massages galore – feeling brand new," she wrote.

And here’s the best part—Sonakshi gave a shoutout to all their amazing friends and the staff who made their stay so memorable. Preet, Raoul, Dr. Jocelyn, Steffi, Cleo, the detox man Jun, and our main two – EJ and Nikka, you guys are the real MVPs!

Intimate Wedding Shenanigans

For those who missed the memo, Sonakshi and Zaheer got hitched on June 23 at their Mumbai residence. The shaadi was a low-key affair, only attended by close family and friends. But don’t be fooled by the simplicity! The civil wedding was followed by a grand bash at Bastian, featuring a star filled guest list. Salman Khan, Vidya Balan with Siddharth Roy Kapur, and the ever-graceful Saira Banu were all present to bless the newlyweds. 🎉💍
