The grapevine has been buzzing with chatter that Sona’s family might not be too thrilled about the match. And just when you thought the drama couldn’t get any juicier, our beloved Sona decided to unfollow her mom, Poonam Sinha, and brother, Luv Sinha, on Instagram! 😱

Yes, you read that right. Sona ne unfollow kar diya apni maa aur bhai ko. But hold on, before you start imagining family feuds and dramatic confrontations, let’s break it down. We did some Insta-sleuthing ourselves and indeed, Sona is not following her mom and Luv. But whether she ever followed them or just decided to hit the unfollow button recently remains a mystery. 🤔

However, our girl is still following daddy dearest, Shatrughan Sinha, and her other brother, Kussh Sinha. Interesting dynamics, right?

But wait, there’s more! When we checked Shatrughan and Poonam’s following list, turns out, papa Sinha follows his Dabangg daughter, but mama Sinha doesn’t. And out of the twin brothers, only Kussh follows Sonakshi. Luv, clearly, has some other plans. Kya drama hai, bhai!

Now, enter the veteran filmmaker and Shatrughan Sinha’s buddy, Pahlaj Nihalani. In a candid chat, Nihalani dismissed any talk of the family boycotting the wedding. He said, “Of course, why shouldn’t they? Shatrughan can’t stay mad at Sonakshi for long. She is his laadli! Shaadi nahin attend karne ka koi sawaal hi nahi paida hota!”

Nihalani further spilled the beans, saying, “As Shatruji mentioned earlier, aaj kal ke bachche inform karte hain, permission nahin lete. Why would he be upset if Sonakshi is marrying the boy of her choice? Shatruji himself married the girl he chose 40 years ago. Expectations should be realistic, yaar.”

As for the wedding festivities, they kick off on June 20 with a Haldi ceremony at Sonakshi’s Bandra residence. Let’s just hope that any lingering tension gets washed away in the Haldi fun! 🌼
