You heard it right, folks! DeepVeer, the power couple, just welcomed their baby girl on September 8. The entire internet went "awww" as the proud parents shared the happy news on social media. Ranveer is already planning a grand welcome for his ladies, while Deepika will soon be discharged from the hospital. But hold your horses, papparazzi! No sneak peeks of Baby Singh-Padukone for you! 😜
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt
Ah, Ranbir and Alia! These two lovebirds were way ahead of the curve. When their daughter Raha Kapoor was born in November 2022, they held a special meeting with the paparazzi, requesting them to respect their no-photo policy. They even showed the paps Raha’s pictures but asked them to use an emoji over her face. Imagine that! Emoji lagana pada! It was only on Christmas 2023 that they introduced Raha to the world during the annual Kapoor lunch.
Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover
In the same month of 2022, Bipasha Basu and Karan Singh Grover welcomed their daughter, Devi Basu Singh Grover. They kept her face hidden for a long time, despite stepping out in public with her. The couple even requested the paparazzi to refrain from clicking Devi’s photos. Talk about being protective parents!
Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and Anand Ahuja
Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja were no different. They brought their son Vayu into this world in August 2022 and were pretty secretive about showing his face. In one viral video, Sonam was seen asking the paparazzi not to take pictures of her four-month-old at the airport. Beta, paparazzi bhi kabhi kabhi zyada ho jaate hain!
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli
But let’s give credit where it’s due. Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma are the OGs of this no-photo game. Their daughter Vamika and newborn son Akaay have never been publicly photographed. Anushka even slammed a publication once for violating their privacy. To show their appreciation for respecting their wishes, the couple sent gift packages to the shutterbugs. Now that’s what I call classy!
So, are we going to see DeepVeer’s little one anytime soon? Only time will tell. Until then, we’ll just have to wait and watch.
