Stubborn Shah Rukh Khan, Says Darr’s Action Director Tinu Verma, Recalling the Age-Old SRK-Sunny Deol Tiff

So, remember Yash Chopra’s iconic film Darr? Of course, you do! This movie was not just a blockbuster but also the battlefield for one of Bollywood’s most infamous clashes. Yup, I’m talking about the epic showdown between Shah Rukh Khan and Sunny Deol. And guess what? Tinu Verma, the film’s action director, has decided to open the pandora’s box again! 🥳

In Darr, Shah Rukh played the psycho lover to perfection, leaving Sunny Paaji and Juhi Chawla in the background. But beyond the silver screen, there was a real-life drama unfolding. Picture this – it’s 1993, SRK is on the rise, and Sunny is already a big shot. But ek choti si action scene, and bam! All hell breaks loose.

Sunny bhai was supposed to play a navy officer, and he had a problem with a scene where SRK’s character attacks him from the front. Kya logic hai, na? He was like, "Bhai, I’m a naval officer, mereko koi front se attack nahi kar sakta!" And our King Khan? "Main Gulshan Grover ya Prem Chopra nahi hoon jo peeth pe waar karoon!"
