Suniel Shetty Spills the Beans on Saving 400 Girls from Human Trafficking, Unmasks the True Hero, “The Underworld Was Breathing Down Our Necks…”

Suniel Shetty, the Bollywood hunk we all lovingly call Anna, isn’t just about flexing muscles and dishing out dialoguebaazi. Turns out, he’s got a spine of steel when it comes to real-life drama too. This man once took on the underworld to rescue around 400 girls from the jaws of human trafficking! 😲

Yup, you heard it right! In a recent chat with Zoom, Suniel spilled the beans on this daring act. But wait, the real hero here? It’s his mother-in-law, Vipula Kadri, and her NGO, which later became the Vipla Foundation. "I was just the messenger," Suniel humbly says. Arre bhai, such humility from a Bollywood star? Kya baat hai!

Suniel recounts how he, alongside his mother-in-law and other NGOs, planned and executed this audacious operation. They kept it all hush-hush, only the CM and police commissioner knew about it. And why is Anna talking about it now? Because according to him, the true heroes are his mother-in-law, the NGOs, and the Mumbai police who had the guts to take on the underworld.

"We had the underworld after us," Suniel recalls, but they managed to stay safe, thanks to some good friends and the police. Even Jet Airways pitched in to help, with Naresh Goel and his wife coming forward to support the cause.

Suniel’s words carry a sense of deep respect and gratitude for everyone involved. He places his mother-in-law on the same pedestal as his own mother. Wah, kya baat hai Suniel bhai. It’s a rare sight in Bollywood where heroes actually live up to their on-screen persona in real life.

And for those who are eagerly waiting, Suniel Shetty has some exciting projects lined up – ‘Welcome to The Jungle’ and ‘Hera Pheri 3’.
