Guess who’s having a blast this week? None other than our very own Sunny Deol! The 2023 blockbuster Gadar 2 has just hit its one-year mark, and boy, is Sunny on cloud nine. This film didn’t just revive his career; it practically gave it a new identity! Sunny took to Instagram (of course) to thank his army of fans, calling Gadar 2 a "revolution" in his life. On Sunday, Sunny decided to get all sentimental and posted a heartfelt message on Instagram with a video clip from the film. He gushed about how the audience turned theatres into carnivals and made the release a global festival. "One year of the revolution in my life, Gadar 2. For those living under a rock, Gadar 2 is the sequel to the 2001 mega-hit Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. We see Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel reprising their roles as Tara Singh and Sakina. Directed by Anil Sharma, this film took us back to the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War, where Tara Singh goes on a death-defying mission to save his son Jeete, played by Utkarsh Sharma. A mix of powerful performances and a gripping story made Gadar 2 one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of the year, raking in a cool Rs. 525.45 crores. 💰
