Sunny, while chatting with Ranveer Allahbadia, got all misty-eyed reminiscing about this particular scene. "There was this beautiful scene written by JP Dutta’s father. It was meant to be at the end of the film. Picture this: I’m at a small temple, and in the background, there’s firelight from a destroyed bunker. I walk over and see my fallen comrades, sitting around the fire," Sunny shared. 🎥✨
He continued, "I speak to them, promising to take care of their families, mend their roofs, and console their mothers. To me, they were right there, in heaven, where there’s no more fighting…(breaks down)." 😢 But alas, the scene was cut due to the film’s length. Yeah, you heard that right. The emotional powerhouse of a scene was left on the cutting room floor. Classic Bollywood, right?
Now, fast forward to the present, and guess what? Border 2 is officially happening! 🎉 Written by Nidhi Dutta and produced by Bhushan Kumar, Krishan Kumar, JP Dutta, and Nidhi Dutta, this sequel is in the capable hands of director Anurag Singh.
