NEW DELHI: Kartik Aaryan, the heartthrob who’s been making waves, is gearing up for his latest flick, Chandu Champion, directed by none other than Kabir Khan. And guess what? In a candid chit-chat with HindiMovieNews’s Abira Dhar, Kartik spilled the beans on his roller-coaster ride in Bollywood. 😲
According to Kartik, his journey to stardom wasn’t all glitz and glam. He reminisced, "There were countless rejections before Sonu Ki Titu Ki Sweety happened. I was flat broke, borrowing money just to get by in Mumbai. It was a dark phase, but giving up? Nah, not my style. When Sonu clicked, it felt like a rebirth." 🌟
Oh, but that’s not all. Kartik also confessed to having a thing for luxury cars. And who wouldn’t, right? He cheekily admitted, "My parents fret over my finances. They’re always worried, ‘What if a film flops? What then?’ This industry is as fickle as a cat’s mood!" 🐱
Reflecting on his earlier days, Kartik shared, "I used to hitch rides to award shows. I promised myself, ‘One day, I’ll have my own car.’ My first ride? A third-hand clunker. But now, it’s become my little rebellion. Sure, it’s not the wisest investment, but hey, dream cars and houses are worth it!" 🚗
