Oh ho! It seems like Swara Bhasker, our beloved actress known for her roles in hits like Tanu Weds Manu and Veere Di Wedding, is in the limelight again. And no, it’s not because of a new film but for a digital drama on X (formerly known as Twitter). Swara’s account got the boot, and she’s not happy. Asli baat toh yeh hai, she’s calling out the ban as "ridiculous and untenable," all thanks to some copyright drama. 😲
Swara’s Drama on X: Who’s Behind It?
Swara took to Instagram to spill the beans, and boy, does she have a story to tell! Apparently, her account was suspended over copyright claims on two images. One was a popular slogan, "Gandhi Hum Sharminda Hain, Tere Qaatil Zinda Hain," and the other, a cute snap of her own bachcha waving the Indian flag. Swara’s all like, "Yeh kya bakwaas hai?" How on earth can these be copyright issues? 🤔
Swara also spoke with Maktoob Media, saying she was clueless about why her account was suspended. She received an email about the so-called copyright violations, which she finds absurd. "It seems like mass reporting is at play," she mused. Could it be that some logon ko mirchi lagi, and they decided to mass report her? 🤷
She’s filed an appeal with the X authorities, hoping for a positive outcome. But who knows, yaar? Social media and its drama never fail to surprise us.
