Back in the year 2000, Mela hit the screens with its typical Bollywood masala vibes, directed by Dharmesh Darshan. Word on the street was that Kajol was the first choice for the role of Roopa but said "no bhaiya" due to Aamir’s penchant for endless retakes. Imagine that!
