Hey all! It’s your favourite Bollywood hound, Nisha, back with another spicy scoop. This time, it’s about the Ambani family, who are gearing up for their son Anant’s wedding, and have lined up an army of A-list designers and stylists to do the honours.
Anant Ambani is all set to tie the knot with Radhika Merchant and the pre-wedding festivities are slated to be held on a cruise between Italy and France from May 29th to June 1st. The family’s first pre-wedding ceremony was held in Jamnagar in March, and let me tell you, it was a glam fest! From Nita Ambani’s jaw-dropping necklace worth a whopping 451 crore INR to Isha Ambani’s 90 crore INR wedding lehenga – the most expensive in India, the Ambani ladies know how to make a statement.
But of course, behind every dazzling outfit and jaw-dropping look, there’s a stylist pulling the strings. Nita Ambani, Isha Ambani, and soon-to-be Ambani bahu Radhika Merchant, all have their own celebrity stylists, makeup artists, hair stylists, and favourite designers.
Favourite Designers: Manish Malhotra, Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla
The Ambani’s are known for their penchant for designer outfits. Manish Malhotra, Sandeep Khosla, and Abu Jani are the go-to designers for their functions. Malhotra, who has designed wedding outfits for many Bollywood celebrities, is a particular favourite. Abu Jani has styled looks for the likes of Deepika Padukone and Sonam Kapoor.
Stylist Extraordinaire: Anaita Shroff Adajania
Celebrity stylist Anaita Shroff Adajania, known for styling Katrina Kaif and Kareena Kapoor, was the one who styled Isha for the pre-wedding function in Jamnagar.
Hair Stylist: Sangeeta Hegde
Kajol’s personal hair stylist, Sangeeta Hegde, was roped in to create Radhika Merchant’s hairdo for the pre-wedding ceremony.
Makeup Artist: Loveleen Ramchandani
Mumbai-based celebrity makeup artist Loveleen Ramchandani, who has been doing Radhika’s makeup for years, was also present at the pre-wedding ceremony.
Personal Makeup Artist: Mickey Contractor
Nita Ambani and her daughter Isha Ambani’s personal makeup artist is none other than the renowned Mickey Contractor. He charges a whopping 75,000 to 1 lakh INR per makeup session.
Personal Hair Stylist: Amit Thakur
Amit Thakur, who has styled the hair of Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, Katrina Kaif, Kiara Advani, and many other celebs, is Nita Ambani’s personal hair stylist.
The second pre-wedding ceremony has already begun and will continue till June 1st, after which Anant and Radhika will get married on July 12th in Mumbai. Following the wedding, the couple will host a reception on July 14th.
