Vicky Kaushal and Kriti Sanon Shower Praise on Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s Stree 2 Trailer

Hello my lovely Bollywood aficionados! It’s your irreverent snoop, Bollywood Newshound Nisha, here to spill the chai on the latest Tinseltown twist.

Stree 2 Trailer: Ghostly Guffaws and Starry Shoutouts!

Oh, the sweet scent of sequels! Today, the much-hyped trailer for Stree 2 fluttered onto our screens, and it’s been causing quite the stir. This comedic horror flick, starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, has Bollywood bigwigs like Vicky Kaushal, Kriti Sanon, and Varun Dhawan singing its praises. I mean, if the A-listers are excited, should we mere mortals dare to differ? 😉

Vicky Kaushal, in his usual charming style, shared the trailer with the caption, "Blockbuster trailer. Can’t wait to watch it." Ah, Vicky, always the enthusiastic one! Kriti Sanon, never one to be outdone, wrote, "Stree is back. Bigger, scarier, funnier and crazier than before. Maza aa gya." And Varun Dhawan? Well, he kept it short and sweet with, "Stree is back." I guess brevity is the soul of wit, huh Varun?

Now, if you haven’t already seen these celebrity filled endorsements, here’s a peek:

The trailer kicks off with Pankaj Tripathi’s unmistakable voice-over, introducing a new ghoul – the headless horseman Sarkate. Because, obviously, the only thing scarier than a ghost is a ghost without a head. He ominously declares, “Stree is gone. However, the missing pages of Chanderi Puran clearly state he will come back once Stree leaves.” Cue dramatic music and flashing lights: “Sartake Ka Aatank” in big, bold letters. Enter Rajkummar Rao’s Vicky and his bumbling pals, Abhishek Banerjee (Jana) and Aparshakti Khurana (Bittu), trying to outwit this new terror.

Oh, and how can we forget the dialogues that are sure to become memes faster than you can say "Sonam bewafa hai"? Add a special dance number by Tamannaah, and you’ve got yourself a recipe for viral success. The makers of Stree 2 cheekily teased, “India’s most awaited gang is back to fight Chanderi ka naya aatank.”

Watch the trailer here:

Stree 2, directed by Amar Kaushik, is all set to haunt theaters on August 15. Mark your calendars, folks, because this is one sequel you won’t want to miss. Remember the first Stree? It had us screaming with laughter and, well, just plain screaming. Let’s see if the sequel lives up to its predecessor.

Nisha’s Nutshell:
In the whimsical world of Bollywood, the only thing scarier than a headless ghost is a movie trailer that doesn’t go viral. Keep your popcorn ready, folks! 🍿
