Mumbai: Cue the violins Actress Neeru Bajwa got all misty-eyed at the trailer launch of Jatt & Juliet 3 and couldn’t stop gushing over her co-star Diljit Dosanjh. Apparently, this man has single-handedly carried the weight of Punjabis on his shoulders, elevating their status on the global stage. All hail Diljit, the savior of the universe! 🌍
Neeru, who looked every bit the Barbie doll in her satin pink ensemble (seriously, was Ken missing?), shared her teary-eyed admiration for Diljit. "It’s a wonderful feeling," she said, probably holding back more tears than an Oscar acceptance speech. "Like every other Punjabi, I adore this man (Diljit), and I am immensely proud of him. The film is magical," she added, making us wonder if she moonlights as a fairy godmother.
And if you thought that was enough buttering up, think again. Neeru went on to praise Diljit’s recent ‘Dil-luminati North America Tour,’ where she apparently had an epiphany. "I went to his show, and what I felt there, I can’t tell you what feeling it was," she said, leaving us all guessing if she saw a concert or had a spiritual awakening. ✨
