Shah Rukh Khan’s Epic Takedown: When King Khan Schooled a Reporter Over Ra.One!

Oh, Shah Rukh Khan! Bollywood ka Badshah, the man with charm, wit, and a tongue sharper than a katana! 😎 You know, SRK is not just about those dimpled smiles and romantic hero vibes. He’s also the king of witty comebacks! Once upon a press conference, he gave a masterclass in shutting down nonsense, and I’m here to give you the lowdown.

So, kya scene hai? Ra.One, a movie that dared to dream big in Indian cinema, was under the scanner. Directed by Anubhav Sinha and produced by Gauri Khan under Red Chillies Entertainment, it had SRK playing a double role with Kareena Kapoor Khan, Shahana Goswami, Tom Wu, Dalip Tahil, and Satish Shah. Despite mixed reviews, it grossed 118 crores. Lekin, kuch log toh bas kuch bhi bolte rehte hain!

At a media event, a nosy reporter dared to question the originality of Ra.One, comparing it to Batman Begins and some German ad. Oh bhai, galti se mistake ho gayi! SRK, with his classic swag, retorted, "Are yaar, kisiko kuch bhi bolne do. This is one of its kind." He went on to highlight his 20 years of experience in the industry, emphasizing, "I don’t know the fate of the film, I don’t know how many people will like it, but this is genuinely a very special film. It is important that Indian films go forward."

And then the piÚce de résistance, "Humlog jo hai ye chichori baaton ke andar
kidhar se copy kia.. Batman, Batman ki
It’s a new genre and we should respect it." Bas, reporter ki bolti band! SRK schooled her on not belittling efforts to push the boundaries of Indian cinema, pointing out the irony when people complain about the lack of originality in Bollywood.

Meanwhile, our King Khan is busy as ever. Next up, he’s sharing the screen with his daughter Suhana Khan in King. Plus, sequels like Jawan 2, Pathaan 2, and the much-anticipated Tiger vs Pathaan are all on the horizon. Busy bee, isn’t he?

Kiran’s Gyan: Arre bhai, Bollywood mein original aur copy ka chakkar toh purana hai! But remember, even if it’s inspired, it’s all about giving it that Bollywood tadka! So, next time you feel like questioning originality, think twice
 or thrice! 😜
