Picture this: Farah Khan and Shah Rukh Khan pulling off a feat that’s the stuff of Bollywood legends. They rounded up Bollywood’s who’s who for the epic song "Deewangi Deewangi" from the film Om Shanti Om. Imagine the likes of Salman Khan, Priety Zinta, Rekha, and many more dancing to the same beat. Wah bhai wah, what a party! 🎉
So, the story goes that Farah Khan, in a heart-to-heart with the IFTDA YouTube channel, spilled the beans on the madness that was shooting this song. Picture this: you’ve got the stage set, cameras ready, but where is Govinda? Late to the party, our dear Chichi was—by a whole 24 hours! 😅 Farah called him up, "Chichi, kahan ho yaar?" Turns out, he was busy shooting in Dharavi while the rest of the gang was waiting at Film City. Talk about fashionably late, huh?
Farah also confessed on Zee Comedy Show that she had never choreographed Govinda before. Even during Deewangi Deewangi, she was like, "Govinda ji, aap hi sikha do Shah Rukh ko steps." And guess what? They ended up doing a bit of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, and it was, in her words, "brilliant." Ah, the magic of spontaneity!
Om Shanti Om, if you didn’t know, is a delightful cocktail of drama, romance, and reincarnation, with Deepika Padukone making her debut alongside stars like Arjun Rampal and Kirron Kher. And of course, you-know-who, the King Khan himself. 🎬
Kiran’s Gyan: In Bollywood, time is not measured in hours or minutes, but in ‘Govinda-standard time’. So next time you’re running late, just say you’re on Bollywood time! 😉
