So, our very own Sanjay Leela Bhansali, the maestro of Bollywood, has woven pure magic with Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in not one, not two, but three epic films—Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas, and Guzaarish. Bhai sahab, yeh koi aam baat nahi hai! Every role, be it Nandini, Paro, or Sofia, was a masterpiece. SLB has this incredible knack for making Aish look like a goddess on screen. Matlab, kitna pyaar hai, yaar!
In the past, SLB has been all gooey and mushy about Aishwarya in multiple interviews. He’s praised everything from her beauty to her acting chops. Even when there were some tiffs, they managed to keep it classy. In one chat, Bhansali even said he’d love to make a film called Taj Mahal just for her. Wah, kya dedication hai! He also once said that Aish is the last of the stars. Ab yeh baat toh sach hai, doston!

In a 2014 interview, SLB, the genius behind Heeramandi, said that Aish carries herself with unmatched grace. But underneath, she’s still the same giggly girl we all love. “The girl is very much there, but of course, there is a garb,” he said. Matlab, ek taraf she’s the elegant diva, and on the other hand, she’s the same old Ash who still holds hands and connects with her people. SLB added that Aish is the last of the stars like Hema Malini, Waheeda Rehman, and Rekha. Wah bhai, kya baat hai!
