So, Sonam recently spilled the beans in an interview with The Dirty Magazine. Baat yeh hai ki, despite being 39 and a proud mommy to baby Vayu, Sonam ke paas aise roles aa rahe hain jo 20-somethings ke liye hote hain! Imagine, she was offered the role of a schoolgirl turned sportsperson! Matlab, kya Bollywood mein sach mein dimag ki kami hai ya bas Sonam ki timeless beauty sabko confuse kar rahi hai? 😂
She even joked about digital de-aging, saying, "I don’t want to be de-aged! Can you imagine me de-aged?” Arre, Sonam, hum bhi nahi imagine kar sakte!
Sonam ne apni choti behen-like cousins Janhvi Kapoor aur Khushi Kapoor ka bhi zikr kiya. She admitted, “Obviously I don’t look as young as a Janhvi or a Khushi, but I’m quite grateful people think of me as someone who’s not aged much.” Acha hai, Sonam. Reality check bhi zaroori hai, warna Bollywood mein to illusions ka pitara kabhi khatam nahi hota.
Since giving birth to her son Vayu in 2022, Sonam has been living the London life with hubby Anand Ahuja. Lekin, kaam se break lena was never on her agenda for too long. She’s been shuttling between the UK and India, managing her filmi commitments and mommy duties like a pro. Her last full-fledged role was in "The Zoya Factor" in 2019, and she also did a cameo in "AK vs AK." Recently, she appeared in the 2023 thriller "Blind" as a visually-impaired investigator.
