When SRK Humbled Himself Before Nawazuddin, Claiming ‘I’m Not That Big of a Star’

Arrey yaar, Bollywood mein kya kya nahi hota! Here’s your friendly snoop, Khabree Kiran, with some juicy gossip straight from the heart of B-town. So, grab your chai and get ready for some masala!

Shah Rukh Khan Bows Down to Nawazuddin Siddiqui – “Itna Bada Actor Nahi Hu!”

Shah Rukh Khan, the Baadshah of Bollywood, the King Khan himself, has been ruling the industry for over three decades. But even the king knows how to stay grounded! In a recent episode of The Kapil Sharma Show promoting his blockbuster Raees, SRK did something totally unexpected. He called Nawazuddin Siddiqui his "senior"! Haan ji, you heard that right! King Khan admitted that he doesn’t consider himself as great an actor as Nawaz bhai. 😲

"Main itna bada actor nahin hu jitne bade Nawaz Bhai hain," SRK said. Wah bhai wah! He further added, "Unko shayad khud apni khasiyat nahin maloom hai. Abhi inhone filmon mein kaam kiya hai, theatre se hain. Ye bahot hi bade aur aala darze ke actor hain." (Translation for my non-Hindi folks: Nawaz bhai probably doesn’t even realize his own greatness. He has worked in films and comes from theatre; he is a very high-caliber actor.)

Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge actor even went on to praise Siddiqui’s “beautiful eyes” and his unique acting style. SRK believes that actors like Nawaz inspire everyone around them. Aise actors har kisi ko nahi milte, dost!

In Raees, SRK played the titular character, Raees Alam, a gangster-turned-MLA, sharing the screen with Pakistani actress Mahira Khan. The 2017 release, directed by Rahul Dholakia, also featured an ensemble cast including Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, Sheeba Chadha, and Atul Kulkarni. Speaking of Nawaz, he’s also worked with the other Khans – Salman in Kick and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and Aamir in Sarfarosh and Talaash. Sala, Nawaz bhai toh chha gaye!

Kiran’s Gyan:

Bollywood mein sab kuch possible hai, doston! Even the King can bow down to a Nawaz. Lesson for the day – No matter how big you get, never forget to give respect where it’s due. After all, Bollywood is all about “pyaar aur izzat.” 😎
