Picture this: the adorable Shraddha Kapoor, with her charming smile, once had a bachpan ka crush on none other than Varun Dhawan! Haan haan, you heard it right – Bollywood ke chhote nawab Varun! Aur kya hua? She proposed to him, only to be met with a "Nahi chahiye" from Varun. 😲😂
It all came to light during an interview promoting their upcoming movie, Stree 2. Shraddha narrated, "Yeh toh bahut purani kahani hai. Log toh jaante hai. Varun ne mera proposal reject kiya tha. Main mountain top pe gayi, where I cutely said, ‘You love I.’ Aur Varun ne kya bola? ‘Mujhe ladkiyan pasand nahi hai!’ Bhaag gaya woh!" 😂
Drama alert! Years later, Varun had his own version of this kahani. Promoting his movie Baby John, he shared his bachpan ki yaadein. Apparently, at Shraddha’s tenth birthday party, he was cornered by four other boys, all vying for Shraddha’s attention. The poor chap was like, "Bhai, mujhe toh dance competition mein interest hai!" But no, these boys were adamant. Result? Varun got a good thrashing! 😆
Fast forward to their teenage years, and the tables turned during a dandiya event. Varun, in his own hero-style, accidentally whacked someone with a dandiya stick. Guess who came to his rescue? The lovely Shraddha herself. Varun admitted, "Us din Shraddha bohot khoobsurat lagi, and I regretted saying no to her." Ah, Bollywood! When life gives you lemons, you turn it into a blockbuster!
For those living under a rock, Varun and Shraddha have since starred together in ABCD 2, Street Dancer 3D, and Varun even made a special appearance in Stree 2. Aaj kal ke Bollywood ke dost, kya kahani hai! 🎥👫
