Choocha’s Hopes for "Wild Wild Punjab"
Varun, or should I say, Choocha, is crossing his fingers that this movie hits the right chord with the audience. He says, "Buddy comedies or buddy films are attractive because friendship is one of the strongest emotions that we have in our lives… It is a stronger emotion than even what you feel in love… I really hope ‘Wild Wild Punjab’ resonates with people…"
From "Pyaar Ka Punchnama" to "Fukrey" and "Chhichhore," buddy comedies have always been a hit. And why not? Whether it’s college ke din or crazy adventures, yeh genre has given us so many memorable moments!
The Ensemble Cast: More Than Just Friends
"Wild Wild Punjab" isn’t just about Varun. The movie also stars Manjot Singh, Sunny Singh, Patralekhaa, and Ishita Raj. Manjot, our beloved Laali from "Fukrey," feels the movie’s universal appeal makes it relatable, even if it was set in Gujarat or Tokyo. Matlab, dosti ki koi boundaries nahi hoti!
Sunny Singh and Ishita Raj, who’ve worked with Luv Ranjan before, have some interesting tales too. But with a team like this, she had a blast and learned a lot!
