Alright, so here’s the scene. Our very own Disha Patani, who made quite the dhamaka with Baaghi 2 back in 2018, has been struggling to get another superhit under her belt. Uff, it’s been six long years and several films, but no major hits. Can you believe it? 😲
Disha ne apna career start kiya with a bang in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016), but it was Baaghi 2 that really got her noticed. Since then, she’s been part of six big films, but success has been playing hide and seek with her. Malang (2020) opposite Aditya Roy Kapur created quite the buzz with their sizzling chemistry, but box office pe sirf 59.04 crores ka business kiya. Not bad, but definitely not a blockbuster. 😬
Phir aayi Ek Villain Returns with Tara Sutaria, John Abraham, and Arjun Kapoor. But yeh film toh flop hi ho gayi with only 41.49 crores. Aur 2024 mein Sidharth Malhotra ke saath Yodha bhi fail ho gayi, earning just 33 crores. Arrey yaar, kya ho raha hai Disha? 😕
Ab baat karte hain Kalki 2898 AD ki!
This film is a biggie, with a budget of a staggering 600 crores! Haaye re, kitna paisa! Featuring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, and Amitabh Bachchan, this film is expected to break some serious records. Deepika aims to hit the 1000 crore mark in the post-pandemic era, and Disha is hoping for a much-needed hit. The advance booking trends in North America are looking promising, but only time will tell if this film can recover its massive budget and become a superhit. Fingers crossed, Disha! ✨
PS: Don’t forget, Bharat and Baaghi 3 aren’t counted because Disha had just a cameo and special appearance. And Radhe was released on Zee5, so that doesn’t count either.
