Akshay Kumar Claps Back at Critics of His Box Office Run: ‘Abe mara nahi hu main!’ | Bollywood

Arrey yaar, guess who’s been having a rough patch at the box office? None other than our Khiladi Kumar, Akshay! With his recent films like Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Sarfira tanking, the actor is feeling the heat. But hold on, Akki has something to say about all this drama.

Akshay’s Epic Reaction 🤔

So, during the trailer launch of his upcoming flick, Khel Khel Mein, in Mumbai, Akshay decided to spill the beans about his movies not doing so well. And trust me, it was quite the show!

"I don’t think too much. I’m telling you, four-five films of mine have not worked. I get so many messages — ‘sorry yaar, fikar mat kar’. Abbey mara nahi hoon main (I am not dead)!” Akshay shot back, as if he was talking to his dost log who were writing him off already.

Can you imagine? It’s like people were sending him shok sandesh (condolence messages). One journo even had the audacity to write, ‘don’t worry, you’ll be back’. Akki being Akki, called him up and asked, "What does ‘back’ mean? Where have I gone? I am here and I’ll keep working," he added. 😂

The Khiladi Spirit 💪

Our man Akshay is all about the hustle. “Main hamesha kaam karte rahunga, chahe log kuch bhi bole (I will continue working, no matter what people say). In the morning, I wake up, exercise, leave for work and return home. Jo bhi kamata hoon apne dum pe kamata hoon (I work hard to earn money). Kisi ka kuch khaunga nahi main kabhi (I will never ask anyone for help). I’ll keep on working till they shoot me down,” he declared.

That’s the spirit, Akki! Kabhi kabhi lagta hai ki iss bande ko koi nahi hara sakta. 💥

The Not-So-Good Phase 😬

Let’s keep it real, Akshay’s recent projects have been a bit of a disaster. Films like Samrat Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan, Ram Setu, Selfiee, and Mission Raniganj didn’t exactly set the box office on fire. And his big-budget dream, Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, also fizzled out.

What’s Next? 🎬

But hey, the show must go on! Akshay is gearing up for the release of Khel Khel Mein, featuring a star filled cast including Vaani Kapoor, Taapsee Pannu, Fardeen Khan, Ammy Virk, Pragya Jaiswal, and Aditya Seal. Directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Bhushan Kumar and team, this flick is set to hit the screens on August 15. Mark your calendars, folks!

Akshay’s Box Office Blues: Ek Din Ka Kissa or Career Ka Khatra?

In Bollywood, it’s all about the highs and lows. One day you’re on top, the next day you’re wondering what hit you! But Akshay Kumar, with his never-say-die attitude, proves that it’s not about how many times you fall, but how you get back up. So, let’s give our Khiladi the benefit of the doubt. After all, picture abhi baaki hai mere dost!
