Hold onto your popcorn, folks, because Kill has just slashed its way past the Rs. 6 crores mark at the box office after its opening weekend. The film kicked off with Rs. 1.35 crores on Friday, picked up speed on Saturday with Rs. 2.20 crores, and then surged on Sunday with Rs. 2.70 crores. All in all, this action-packed flick has bagged a total of Rs. 6.25 crores over the weekend. Not bad for a film that’s more punches than posh locations, right?

Now, it’s refreshing to see daily growth for this film because, let’s face it, 2024 has been a year where many releases have flatlined around the Rs. 1.50 crore mark. But here we are, with Kill defying the odds. Even though it stars a newcomer [Lakshya] and lacks those exotic locales or hefty budgets, it’s got the Dharma Productions tag, which adds a bit of that Bollywood magic dust. So, yeah, it deserves to rake in those big bucks.

For the film to keep the momentum going, it needs to pull in over Rs. 1 crore today. And guess what? It’s likely to happen. If it managed to dodge the mighty Kalki 2898 AD [Hindi] over the weekend, it can definitely hold its ground during the weekdays. Plus, the film’s target audience are the evening crowd, the very folks who’ll boost those weekday numbers.
