Jackie Shroff, Bollywood ka apna bhidu, ne India Today ke saath ek interview mein apni baat rakhi. When asked about the film’s box office performance, he said, "Dukh hota hai par khud ke liye nahi, producers ke liye." Aww, Jackie Dada, such a considerate soul! While he poured his heart into his role, it seems the paisa lagane walon (producers) are the ones feeling the burn.
Jackie also mentioned that he hoped for applause for his performance, but what’s applause without some cash ringing at the box office, right? Lekin "Baby John" ke saath aisa kuch nahi hua.
Box Office Ka Halwa 🍿
The film, which released on December 25, 2024, was made on a whopping budget of 160 crores! But it seems the box office bheed ne isko pasand nahi kiya, as the film wrapped up with just 39.28 crores. With competition from the likes of "Pushpa 2" and "Mufasa: The Lion King," it quickly said tata-bye-bye to theatres. Baap re, only 24% recovery! 😱
