Khan didnât shy away from admitting that every filmmaker cares about box office figures. "Anyone who says otherwise is lying," he said. Preach! But letâs be honest, the man has a point. He stressed that how a film is remembered and re-watched over time is the true measure of its success.
And speaking of re-watching, Kabir proudly mentioned that Chandu Champion and his previous film â83 are getting their fair share of attention on OTT platforms. Itâs like heâs saying, "Hey, Netflix and chill with my movies, will ya?" đș
Kabir even took a trip down memory lane to talk about his debut movie Kabul Express. Despite it being his "least successful" work, heâs still basking in the glow of fansâ love 18 years later. "People still come up to me and say they loved the film," he said. Nostalgia much?
But letâs not forget the Herculean effort that Kartik Aaryan put into Chandu Champion. The actor went from a body fat percentage of 39% to a jaw-dropping 7%! đïžââïž "He trained for a year and a half in boxing," Kabir revealed. Talk about commitment!
Chandu Champion tells the inspiring life story of Indiaâs first Paralympics champion, Murlikant Petkar. Recently, both Kartik and Kabir attended the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne (IFFM) to screen the movie. Nothing like a little international love to lift those spirits, eh?
