Prabhas’s Kalki 2898 AD Might Crush It in the South While Fizzling in the North, “In the South, Films Sell Themselves,” Says Marketing Guru!

Hey Bollywood Buffs! It’s your favorite snoop, Khabree Kiran, back with some spicy masala straight from B-town. Today, we’re diving into the North vs. South debate once again, thanks to Prabhas’s latest spectacle, "Kalki 2898 AD." So, grab your chai and let’s get into the gup-shup!

Prabhas’s Kalki 2898 AD: North vs. South Showdown!

Arre, kya drama hai, yaar! Prabhas’s "Kalki 2898 AD" is stirring the pot, reigniting the epic North vs. South debate. Looks like this film is set to open with a bang, possibly outshining many Hindi flicks. Varun Gupta, the brain behind the film’s marketing, recently spilled the beans on this never-ending debate. Let’s hear it from the man himself!

"Simple Living, High Thinking" – Really?

In an exclusive chat, Varun shared, "I’ve seen how both industries work. The South follows ‘simple living and high thinking,’ but yeh mat socho ki North mein sab hi ulta hai." Varun’s point? Both industries have their own quirks and charm.

Stardom Ka Scene Kya Hai, Boss?

Varun had some interesting insights into audience behavior. He said, “In the North, stardom is taken a bit lightly. Lekin South mein, stardom is pura crazy! Log apne stars ko bhagwan maante hain!” Yeah, you heard that right. South audiences treat their stars like demigods, while in the North, it’s more like, "Accha, movie dekhne chalte hain."

Family Ritual or Just Weekend Plans?

Varun explains a big reason for this difference. “In the South, watching a movie is a family ritual. In the North, it’s just one of the many weekend options.” So, there you have it! It’s not just about the stars or the filmmakers, but the audience too. South mein, filmi fever is a family affair, while in the North, it’s more casual.

Kalki 2898 AD – What’s the Buzz?

Varun also shared his thoughts on Kalki 2898 AD’s release. “The South audience doesn’t wait for the weekend. Thursday ko bhi movie dekhne chale jaate hain. But in the North, people think, what’s the hurry? We’ll watch it on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday.” Quite the difference, huh?

North Films Rocking the South

Interestingly, Varun pointed out that big North Indian films like Gadar, Jawan, and Pathaan also did well in the South. So, fingers crossed for Kalki 2898 AD to set some new records and trends.

Kiran’s Gyan: Bollywood and Tollywood – two sides of the same coin, yaar! North or South, paisa vasool hona chahiye! 😎✨
