Saturday Slump for Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, but Ulajh Untangles Box Office Woes

Well, well, well, Bollywood! Another Friday has come and gone, and the box office is still as lively as a sloth on a Sunday. Yours truly, Boxoffice Bhaskar, is here to break down the dismal digits and sprinkle some sarcasm on this week’s box office collections.

Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha and Ulajh couldn’t even muster up a combined Rs. 5 crores. That’s right, folks, not even a fiver! It’s bad enough when movies don’t open with a bang on Friday, but when they flatline on Saturday too, you know the ship is sinking faster than the Titanic. Empty theaters are becoming the new norm, and it’s getting harder to remember the last time a Bollywood film had us rushing to the ticket counter.

Take Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha, for instance. Despite having heavyweights like Ajay Devgn and Tabu, it’s barely making a ripple in the ocean. The opening day brought in a paltry Rs. 1.70 crores, and Saturday didn’t do much better with Rs. 1.90 crores. Percentage growth? Absolute numbers? Both are as low as a limbo champion.

Now, let’s talk about Ulajh. It’s slightly better, but that’s like saying getting a cold is better than getting the flu. The film opened at Rs. 1 crore and managed to crawl to Rs. 1.70 crores on Saturday. Sure, that’s a 60% growth, but when your starting point is that low, it’s not exactly something to write home about. Here’s hoping Sunday can pull a rabbit out of the hat; otherwise, Janhvi Kapoor’s latest venture is going to need a lot more than weekday miracles to stay afloat.

In summary, Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha stands at Rs. 3.60 crores and Ulajh at Rs. 2.70 crores. Combined, they can’t even touch the Rs. 10 crores mark after two days. Ouch!

Note: All figures are as accurate as a Bollywood love story plot twist, courtesy of various box office sources.
