Stree 2: The Horror-Comedy Juggernaut That’s Crushing It!
Bhaiyon aur behno, Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor have done it again! Stree 2 is on a rampage, smashing box office records left, right, and center. Currently in its fourth week, yeh movie ka jalwa hai that it refuses to slow down! Missed it in theaters? No tension! It’s all set to make its grand entry on OTT!
The sequel to the hit film Stree hit theaters on August 15, 2024, and boy, did it make some noise! It had to contend with Vedaa and Khel Khel Mein, which sadly pushed Kalki 2898 AD out of the race. But, as they say, baazi jeetne wala hi asli hero hota hai, and Stree 2 emerged victorious, becoming the only strong contender at the ticket window.
Stree 2 OTT Release Date:
Arey bhai, suno suno! Stree 2 is getting ready to haunt your living rooms soon! As per Track Tollywood, the film is set to premiere on September 27, 2024, on OTT. However, no official confirmation yet. Makers might push the date further to rake in more paisa while the film’s box office run is still hot!
Where to watch Stree 2 online?
For those who can’t wait to see Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao’s antics again, the film is rumored to be dropping on Amazon Prime Video. With its stellar box office performance, it’s expected to break new records in viewership too. Excited much? Let’s wait for the official nod!
Box Office Dhamaka:
In just 25 days, Stree 2 has raked in a whopping 551.44 crores! It has left behind Gadar 2 (525.50 crores) and Pathaan (543.22 crores). Just 3 crores more, and it’ll overtake Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal (554 crores) to become the sixth highest-grossing film in India. However, beating Jawan (640.42 crores) seems like a distant dream as the film approaches the end of its theatrical run.

The film boasts a stellar cast including Shraddha Kapoor, Rajkummar Rao, Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi, and Aparshakti Khurana. Made on a modest budget of 60 crores, it’s been declared a super-duper hit! Special appearances from Akshay Kumar and Tamannaah Bhatia added extra tadka to the mix. And guess what? A third installment is already in the pipeline! Can’t wait to see who the next baddie is, but rumors point towards the Khel Khel Mein actor!
