Okay, Bollywood ke deewano, guess what’s brewing in our very own filmy cauldron? Stree 2, the much-awaited horror-comedy starring Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, is about to hit the theaters on Independence Day, and it’s already creating dhamaka at the advance booking counters! 🎟️

Arre bhai, the advance booking opened this weekend and it’s raining tickets! According to our Bollywood ka pandit, a film trade analyst (jisko sab kuch pata hota hai, obviously), this Amar Kaushik directorial is all set to rake in a bhaari ₹30-35 crore on its opening day. Independence Day pe toh double dhamal hone wala hai – desh ki azadi aur Stree 2 ka mazedaar opening! 🎉
Box Office Clash: It’s a Bollywood Battle Royale! But hold your horses, doston! Stree 2 isn’t the only movie vying for your hard-earned paisa. Akshay Kumar’s Khel Khel Mein, John Abraham’s Vedaa, Vikram’s Thangalaan, and Puri Jagannadh’s Double iSmart featuring Telugu hunk Ram Pothineni with Sanju Baba (yes, Sanjay Dutt!) are also releasing on the same day. Bhai sahab, ye toh paisa wasool Independence Day hone wala hai! 💥 The Legacy of Stree A quick flashback – the original Stree (2018), co-starring Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana, was a blockbuster and loved by both critics and audiences alike. Set in the quaint town of Chanderi, Madhya Pradesh, it narrated the spine-chilling tale of an evil spirit named ‘Stree’ who abducts men during the festival season. Inspired by the urban legend of ‘Nale Ba’ from Karnataka, it was a full-on entertainer with the perfect mix of horror and comedy. The Sequel Saga Continues Produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and Jio Studios’s Jyoti Deshpande, Stree 2 promises to be another gem in Maddock’s horror-comedy universe, which already boasts of Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya and the recently released Munjya, featuring Sharvari and Abhay Verma. Oh, and did I mention, Stree 2 has already sold 1,24,402 tickets across India for its first day alone? And it’s collected a cool ₹4.09 crore in advance sales. Toh, tayyar ho na doston, for some spine-tingling masti? Kiran’s Gyan: Bollywood mein ek hi rule hai – jitni badi opening, utna bada hit!
