*Tumbbad* refuses to take a chill pill! After pocketing a modest Rs. 1.65 crores on Friday and gaining momentum over the weekend, this little horror gem has been holding its ground at the box office. Monday (Rs. 1.69 crores) and Tuesday (Rs. 1.66 crores) even outdid the Friday figures! And guess what? Wednesday’s no slouch either, raking in Rs. 1.42 crores.
Hold onto your popcorn, folks, because the film just needs to maintain this pace today and ride the National Cinema Day wave tomorrow, with tickets going for a steal at Rs. 99. You can bet your last samosa that a boost of Rs. 2-2.50 crores is on the horizon, though don’t be shocked if it surpasses that. This could be the lifeline *Tumbbad* needs to cruise through the weekend.
To date, *Tumbbad* has amassed Rs. 12.11 crores. And mark my words, by tonight or tomorrow morning, it will smash past the Rs. 13.57 crores lifetime collection of its initial run. Heck, it might even double that figure in this re-release, potentially crossing Rs. 40 crores and making it a bona fide hit.
