What is the story of the film?
The story of the film revolves around Chhota Bheem and his friends who are transported 1,000 years back in time to the mysterious land of Sonapur. Their mission is to stop the devil Damyaan, who is about to determine the future of mankind, from becoming immortal. The film begins with the dark quest of Skandi and Takshika to resurrect Damyaan. They realize that they need a brave and pure-hearted character from the past, which is where Chhota Bheem is introduced in a spectacular way as he fights off wolves in the snowy mountains.
Upon returning to Dholakpur, Bheem’s companions- Kaliya, Dholu Bholu, Chutki, Jaggu, and Raju join in their usual mischief. Bheem’s return marks the beginning of a new adventure as King Indra Varma assigns them the task of finding Sonapur, rumoured to be filled with gold. Their journey takes a dangerous turn when they inadvertently free Damyaan, who traps the world in imminent danger. Under the guidance of Guru Shambhu, Bheem must now confront Damyaan and thwart his dangerous plans.
The second part of the film is filled with action and the thrill of time-travel, as Bheem and his friends race against time to save humanity.
How is the acting of the starcast?
All the characters in the film have breathed life into their performances. Yajna Bhasin, as Chhota Bheem, will win your heart. The child has shown remarkable acting. Anupam Kher, in the role of Guru Shambhu, has demonstrated brilliant acting. His presence in the film lends it strength. Makarand Deshpande and all the co-actors like Navneet Kaur, Megha Chilaka, Mukesh Chhabra all help to beautifully progress the story.
How is the direction?
Rajeev Chilaka has given the film a unique cinematic experience with his direction. The film’s visual effects take you to a different world and its praises cannot be sung enough. However, when it comes to extracting performances from actors, Rajeev’s grip seems a bit loose. The length of the film could have also been shortened.
How is the film’s music?
The music of the film is adding four moons to the film. Raghav Sachar has given some splendid tracks to the film lovers through songs like Chhota Bheem theme song and Jambura. The film’s VFX is splendid.
