IRaH Film Review: A Sci-Fi Faux Pas – When AI Meets LOLs

🌟🌟 (2 out of 5 stars)

👋 Hello, Bollywood buffs! Here’s Review Rani, your snarky, hilarious guide to the cinema madness, and today, I’ve got a real treat for you. We’re diving into the wild world of AI and tech with a movie that tried so hard to be a thriller but ended up being a comedy instead. Ladies and gentlemen, hold onto your popcorn, because ‘EleMon’ has arrived, and boy, does it deliver
just not in the way you’d expect! đŸ€Ł

Our protagonist, Hari (played by Rohit Bose Roy), is a techie with a dream. He heads a company called EleMon, which, if you squint and tilt your head to the side, might remind you of a certain real-world tech mogul. 🧐 But wait, there’s more! Hari is on a mission to revolutionise the world with his app ‘IRaH’ that promises to create AI-powered avatars, immortality in digital form. Sounds exciting, right? If only the execution lived up to the hype!

Hari’s journey into the AI abyss is filled to the brim with mispronunciations, over-the-top performances, and a plot so disjointed, you might find yourself wondering if the script was put together by a malfunctioning AI.

And let’s not forget about our dear detective inspector Dunne (played by Rajesh Sharma). Normally a decent actor, Sharma’s portrayal of a law enforcement officer in this film is about as convincing as a five-year-old trying to explain quantum physics.

The plot twists, I’ll admit, did catch me off-guard a couple of times. But any excitement generated quickly fizzled out amidst the incoherent narrative and the forgettable soundtrack that sounded like it was composed on a broken keyboard.

The movie had the chance to delve into the intricacies of an AI-driven future, but instead, it offered up a buffet of unintentional humor and dialogue deliveries that had me cringing in my seat. By the end, I found myself relating to inspector Dunne when he abruptly stopped in the middle of a sentence and declared, "chhodo yaar, I’m tired." Same Dunne, same. 😮

Rani’s Wrap-Up

In conclusion, ‘EleMon’ is a rollercoaster ride of absurdity that was intended to be a thrilling sci-fi flick but ended up being a comedy of errors. So, if you’re looking for a good laugh, or simply want to appreciate the beauty of a well-made film by its glaring absence, then this might just be the movie for you. As for me, I’d rather watch paint dry. But then again, I’m just your snarky Review Rani, what do I know? 😉

Until next time, happy movie watching
 or not! 😂🍿🎬👋
