Ever wondered what itâs like to live in a city where violence is the roti, kapda, aur makaan? Mirzapur, with its dark alleys and blood-soaked streets, returns for a third season, and itâs as wild as a Delhi ka traffic jam! Season 3 picks up where we left off â Guddu Pandit (Ali Fazal) is out for revenge, and the throne of Mirzapur is up for grabs. Who will rule? Buckle up because itâs going to be a bumpy ride!
This season, the writers turn the dial from maar-dhaad to mind games. With Kaleen Bhaiya (Pankaj Tripathi) missing and Munna Bhaiya (Divyenndu) out of the picture, the throne is like a hot samosa in a room full of hungry gundas. The writing team â Apurva Dhar Badgaiyan, Avinash Singh Tomar, and Vijay Narayan Verma â keeps the plot twisting and turning like a Bollywood dance number. But beware, too many subplots can make your head spin faster than a Bhangra move!
The cast delivers dhansu performances! Pankaj Tripathiâs Kaleen Bhaiya takes a backseat, allowing other characters to shine. Vijay Vermaâs dual role as Chhote and Bade Tyagi is a double dose of brilliance. And Ali Fazal as Guddu â uff, kya baat hai! He balances being a ruthless gangster and a tormented soul perfectly. Shweta Tripathiâs Golu Gupta is the unexpected MVP, guiding Guddu through the chaos. Priyanshu Painyuliâs Robin? Heâs the zen master in this mad, mad world.
Gurmeet Singh has a full thali of plot points, and sometimes it feels like heâs struggling to finish his meal. The show branches out into so many subplots that it occasionally gasps for breath. But hey, who needs oxygen when you have so much drama, right?
The climax arrives like a knight in shining armor, pulling the story back on track. The dialogues are killer â literally and figuratively! Rasika Dugal as Beena Tripathi remains the queen of Mirzapur, even with limited screen time. Her grip on the character is tighter than your dadiâs hold on her TV remote!
There are moments when the show tries too hard to be preachy. The âBhay-Muktâ Pradesh agenda sometimes feels like a traffic signal everyone is ignoring. And letâs be honest, the non-violent parts lack the punch of those gloriously choreographed violent scenes. Do I enjoy violence? Nahi! But do I enjoy violence in Mirzapur? Bilkul!
Mirzapur Season 3 ends on a high note, serving poetic justice with a side of thrilling twists. The post-credit scene will leave you yearning for Season 4 faster than you can say âKaleen Bhaiya.â Rating: âââââŹ

Kiranâs Gyan: In Bollywood, power is like a hot potato â nobody wants to drop it, but everyone gets burned holding it too long. Mirzapur Season 3 reminds us that in the game of thrones, you either win, or you end up as a meme! đ
