Anjali shared a video of the event on her social media, expressing gratitude towards Balakrishna for gracing the event with his presence. She wrote, “I would like to thank Balakrishna for being a part of the pre-release event of Gangs of Godavari. I want to clarify that there’s mutual respect between us and we’ve been good friends for a long time. Sharing the stage with him was a great experience.”

Post the push, Balakrishna was seen joking around with Anjali. Hansal Mehta, the director of the popular series Scam 1993, reposted the video on social media, asking, “Who is this ruffian?”


Anjali was trolled for laughing after being pushed, but found support from playback singer Chinmayi Sripada.
