From a young age, Mrunal was drawn to the performing arts. She trained in Kathak dance and also participated in school plays. However, acting was not something she considered seriously until much later. After finishing school, Mrunal pursued a Bachelor of Mass Media degree from Kishinchand Chellaram College in Mumbai.

Early Career in Television

While still in college, Mrunal began her acting journey with television. Her first role was in the Star Plus show Mujhse Kuchh Kehti…Yeh Khamoshiyaan in 2012. She followed this up with a lead role as Bulbul in Kumkum Bhagya on Zee TV, which proved to be her breakout performance.
