Oh, Bollywood! Just when you think the drama is all on-screen, real life throws in a twist more masaledaar than any masala movie. Our dear Ayesha Takia, who gave us gems like "Wanted," finds herself in the middle of a real-life thriller, with hubby Farhan Azmi playing the lead role in a Goa saga.đ¶ïž
Picture this: Goaâs serene beaches, the gentle hum of the ocean, and then⊠dhishoom dhishoom⊠action! đ Farhan Azmi, cruising in his fancy SUV, gets caught in a real-life Bollywood brawl. Apparently, the Goa police didnât quite appreciate the rash driving drama in Candolim, and next thing you know, Farhanâs in the hot seat!
Ayeshaâs Insta Diaries: Husband and Son in Darr Ke Saaye!
In a heartfelt Insta post, Ayesha spilled the beans about her familyâs ânight of horror.â đ„ș According to her, local Goan goons decided to play the villain, bullying Farhan and their son, leaving them feeling like extras in a horror flick. "Bhai log, it was like being in a movie with no director to call âcutâ!" she said, with a touch of filmi drama.
The plot thickens! Ayesha claims thereâs some major Goa vs Maharashtra rivalry brewing. "Arre baba, the hatred for Maharashtra is shocking!" she shared, adding that the locals had a field day throwing curses at her family. And the police on the scene? Instead of playing the hero, they filed a complaint against Farhan! đ€·ââïž
But wait, thereâs more!
Ayesha insists her husband is as innocent as a Bollywood hero in the first half of a movie. đč "We have CCTV footage, boss! Justice will prevail," she declares, putting her faith in the Indian courts and their filmi justice system.
Meanwhile, the police, playing the role of the stern father, have filed a case under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. Looks like this drama will have a sequel! đŒ
A Flashback to Ayeshaâs Filmi Journey
For those whoâve forgotten (how could you, though?), Ayesha burst onto the big screen in 2004 with "Taarzan: The Wonder Car" and gave us hits like "Socha Na Tha" and "Wanted." But post-2011, she decided to live her own story off-screen, marrying Farhan Azmi, a restaurateur and son of political leader Abu Azmi. Together, they have a little superstar, Mikail Azmi.
