Now, in this scenario, expecting a mid-budget, female-led espionage thriller-drama to hit it out of the park on a Friday is like hoping for a miracle in the middle of Mumbai traffic.
Ulajh opened exactly as predicted, with collections falling in the 1-1.5 crore range. To be precise, it managed to scrape together 1.37 crore on its first day. Shocking? Nah, not really.
Janhvi Kapoor’s latest venture is clearly aimed at the so-called intelligentsia, hoping to pull in the crowd from premium multiplexes in major metros.
